Wow!  It's hard to believe it's been sooooo long since I last posted.  Guess I've been so busy with work.  Now I've got to concentrate and be better at networking with my business.

Today was career day at my son's elementary school and my husband originally signed up to go but couldn't attend as he's begun a new job and needed to be there.  So I thought why not, I'll do it.

I went and shared with the kids the process of embroidery, some things that a customer has to consider when ordering such as thread colors and fonts.  Showed how to hoop the fabric.  I also talked a little bit about how to quilt, the importance of math to know how to measure and calculate what is being done with the measurements.  Shared with them how I also sew curtains, bedding, etc. and how that process is done.

Not sure how much they cared, but they were certainly polite and attentive.  It was fun and I'm glad I did it.
